Event Style Co – Terms & Conditions
The following Terms & Conditions apply to all décor hire services provided by Event Style Co (“Event Style Co”, “we”, “us”, “our”). By engaging our services, accepting a quotation, or making payment, you (“the client”) agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.
1. Bookings & Acceptance
All bookings are confirmed only upon receipt of a signed quotation and/or the required non-refundable deposit. Quotations are valid for the period stated and are subject to availability. Event Style Co reserves the right to refuse or cancel any booking at its discretion.
2. Payments
A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your event date. The remaining balance must be paid in full by the date specified on your invoice and no later than the agreed period prior to the event. Failure to make payment by the due date may result in cancellation of services without refund.
3. Cancellations & Postponements
All deposits are strictly non-refundable.
Cancellations made within the period specified prior to the event date may be charged up to 100% of the total hire fee.
Postponements are subject to availability and approval. Where approved, deposits may be transferred once only to a new date within the agreed timeframe. Additional costs may apply.
4. Hire Period
Décor items are hired for the agreed event date only, inclusive of approved setup and pack-down times. Any delays in venue access or collection beyond agreed times may incur additional charges. All décor remains the sole property of Event Style Co at all times.
5. Care, Responsibility & Damage
The client assumes full responsibility for all hired items from the time of delivery or setup until collection or pack-down is completed.
Décor items must not be relocated, altered, or used in any manner other than agreed without prior written consent. Any loss, theft, or damage - including but not limited to breakage, staining, burns, weather damage, or misuse - will be charged to the client at full replacement or repair cost.
Décor must be kept clear of open flames, liquids, extreme heat, and adverse conditions unless expressly approved by Event Style Co.
6. Outdoor Events & Weather
For outdoor events, the client acknowledges and accepts all risks associated with weather conditions. Event Style Co reserves the right to modify, withhold, or remove décor items where weather conditions may compromise safety or cause damage. No refunds will be issued in such circumstances.
7. Venue Requirements
The client is responsible for obtaining venue approval for all décor installations. Any fees, restrictions, penalties, or damages imposed by the venue as a result of décor installations are the responsibility of the client. Event Style Co is not liable for venue limitations that affect the final presentation.
8. Amendments to Orders
Requests for changes to confirmed bookings must be submitted in writing and are subject to availability. Changes requested close to the event date may not be accommodated and may incur additional charges.
9. Force Majeure
Event Style Co shall not be held liable for failure or delay in performance due to circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, extreme weather, government restrictions, illness, or emergencies. Where possible, we will endeavour to reschedule services; however, refunds are not guaranteed.
10. Liability
Event Style Co is not responsible for injury, loss, or damage arising from the use of hired décor items, except where caused by proven negligence on our part. Our liability is limited to the total hire fee paid by the client.
11. Photography & Marketing
Event Style Co reserves the right to photograph décor installations and use images for marketing, promotional materials, and social media unless otherwise agreed in writing.
12. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the applicable jurisdiction in which Event Style Co operates, and any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of its courts.
13. Acceptance
By confirming a booking with Event Style Co, the client acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions in full.
